As probably some of you, I’ve been initially affected by the hype and “silver bullet thinking” over Agile, and had to face the reality, sometimes the hard way. Thus, expect me to wear  somewhat of a “myth buster”, but definitely not a “evangelist” hatAs Jim York says, “Scrum principles are easy; doing Scrum is hard.” Having been helping a number of teams of various seniority and background  who work in a variety of business domains in adopting Agile, as well as having performed a substantial research on Agile applicability to different project types, I would like to share my real-world experience on where Agile works best, where it does not work “by the book” and requires thorough tailoring, and where you shall definitely consider something else. Waterfall is NOT the only option, by the way!
